Every Tuesday, standard haircuts at Barber Shack are $12. The program exists for people who need the break — single parents, folks on Social Security or state assistance, and job seekers getting ready to go back to work. No proof required, no questions asked. Walk in.
A note on the Tuesday price, from Jared
To our wonderful Barber Shack family and Bellingham community: since day one, our heart has been centered around serving you and keeping quality haircuts accessible for everyone. Our Tuesday discount days were built on the belief that everyone in our neighborhood deserves to look and feel their best, regardless of their budget.
As we all know, life has gotten a lot more expensive recently. From rising costs in groceries and housing to gasoline and everyday utilities, we are all feeling the squeeze — and small businesses like ours are navigating these same increased overhead costs.
In order to continue taking care of our shop team while keeping our doors open for the long haul, we will be adjusting our Tuesday haircut price from $12 to $17, effective November 1st.
We want to remain completely transparent with you. Even with this change, $17 remains well below the average cost of a haircut in our area, because giving back to our community is still core to who we are. You will always get the same high-caliber precision cuts, straight razor work, and welcoming environment every single time you walk through our doors.

A sharp haircut changes how you walk into a room. Financial hardship should not stand between anyone and feeling good about themselves — so every Tuesday the price comes down and stays down, for everybody, all day. No qualifying, no paperwork, no separate line.

- Do I need to prove I qualify?
- No. The Tuesday rate is open to everyone, all day, every Tuesday. Nobody is asked to explain themselves.
- Which haircuts are $12 on Tuesday?
- Our standard haircuts — the price board marks the Tuesday rate on every service it covers. Skin fades and flat tops are not included; those stay at their regular price.
